If you have booked your group accommodation at Christchurch TOP 10 with a group of school students, sports team members, family members or a motoring club – or any group at all, we know you will spend at least some of your meal times right here enjoying our BBQ facilities and the large shared kitchen and dining room.
But some of the time you may well want to venture into the city and enjoy what other locations around town have to offer.
So we have compiled some of the venues around town that are suitable (and welcoming) to larger than usual groups of diners. In every instance we highly recommend you contact the restaurant in advance to book your group in and ensure you have a great experience.
Carlton Bar and Eatery, cnr Papanui Road and Bealey Avenue
Equipped with a large bar area and restaurant downstairs, the Carlton is a Christchurch institution that was completely rebuilt following the earthquakes. You can book a group of tables downstairs, or you can book their Members Bar upstairs and have the space to yourselves! This area includes a fully stocked bar, generous balcony and is also equipped with a wall mounted TV and AV system.
