Papanui has a Cash Converters, Baby City, Briscoes, Warehouse Stationery, Toyworld, Dog's Breakfast, Noel Leeming, cycle shops, Gun City, Just Kids, Artworks, Dowsons shoes, hairdressers and second hand clothing outlets. There are also several banks including the ASB which is open in the weekends.
