Papanui

Papanui has a Cash Converters, Baby City, Briscoes, Warehouse Stationery, Toyworld, Dog's Breakfast, Noel Leeming, cycle shops, Gun City, Just Kids, Artworks, Dowsons shoes, hairdressers and second hand clothing outlets. There are also several banks including the ASB which is open in the weekends.

Chipmunks Indoor Playground for children is opposite the Park on Cranford Street.

The Arts Centre

The Arts Centre is one of the most significant heritage buildings in New Zealand, now transformed into an internationally renowned centre for the arts, culture and creativity.
