The Qualmark grading system, which is the official star grading system in New Zealand, provides you with star graded accommodation which is specifically developed for guests.
We have undergone a rigorous assessment which includes cleanliness, safety, security and comfort and offer a range and quality of services appropriate to our 5 star grading.
We also have an Enviro-Silver rating acknowledging our high levels of environmental and social responsibility within our business.
Our assessment includes responsible tourism and sustainability which encompasses a variety of practices we use within our park including energy efficiency, wastewater management, waste minimisation, community involvement, and staff education including sustainability as a core element.
It is our desire to promote our natural environment and continue to plant native plants wherever possible.
What can you do to help?
- Switch off lights and heaters when you go out.
- Reuse towels.
- Recycle our arrival packs. Hand them in to us and we will reuse them.
- Separate your waste. Use the recycling bins we supply.
- Nurture our environment and landscape.
- Respect our wildlife.
