How far is Christchurch TOP 10 from the city, airport and train station?

We are situated in north-west Christchurch between the city centre and the airport. We are approximately 15 minutes drive from the central city, airport and train station.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, we do require one night's tariff as a deposit to confirm your booking. This may be paid by either giving us your credit card details, sending us a cheque or direct credit our account. If direct crediting please use your reservation number as a reference on your deposit.

What time can we check-in?

You are welcome to check-in to a camper van site anytime. Check-in for our units is FROM 2pm. Please advise us if you are arriving earlier in the day and we will endeavour to have your room ready for your arrival.

What time is check-out?

Check out is 10am. We are happy to have camper vans stay on site while you go into the city on your of departure. It is safer to leave your van with us. Please let reception know if you require a late check-out.

What are reception hours?

Reception is open 8am until 10pm daily.

And what happens if you are going to arrive late?

If you are going to arrive after reception has closed, please let us know in advance so we can leave your key and directions in a safe outside reception for you. We leave a map out for late camper van arrivals.

Do you have an indoor heated swimming pool?

We have an indoor heated swimming pool which is heated to around 30 degrees Celsius throughout the year.

Do you have a spa pool?

Our spa is a private hot tub which may be booked from reception. We offer Club card members a complimentary spa when they stay with us.

What facilities do you have for our children?

  • DVD hire from reception. DVD players are supplied in Park motels.

Do we offer a pickup service from the airport? Or drop-off service to the train station?

No, but we do recommend using Super Shuttle services. Our staff are happy to book a shuttle or a taxi for you from reception. These can be booked for any hour of the day or night.

Can we store luggage for the day?

Luggage storage available in reception.

Do you have email facilities?

Yes we do. We have wireless Internet available as well as computers with Skype on site. Time for these may be purchased from reception. Some of our email computers accept credit card payment.

Are we able to have additional servicing in Self Contained accommodation?

Self contained units (excluding Motels) are serviced in the middel of a 4 night stay but should you require an additional full service a $50 fee will apply.

Do I need to bring bedding and towels?

Most of our units include bedding (sheets, duvet, blankets) and towels. However our Lodge rooms, deluxe standard units and standard units do not have bedding and towels supplied. Pillows are supplied in all units. You may bring your own bedding and towels. Alternatively you can hire a bedding package from us (which includes sheets, duvet, towels and blanket if required) for an additional charge per bed per night.

Will our unit have heating?

All units in the Park have heaters.

Can we organise tours?

Yes, we are able to book tours for you in Christchurch, Canterbury and the South Island from our reception. We can also book the Interislander ferry and Tranzalpine and Tranzscenic train trips. Come in to our reception and see us, or book online from our website. We offer online bookings for 10 popular attractions.

Do you allow pets?

No, we do not allow pets in the park.

Dump stations?

We have two dump stations in the park for getting rid of waste from your motor home.

BBQs?

We have two BBQ areas on site. The BBQ's are free for guests to use.

Car wash?

We have a free manual car wash bay for guests. Ask for a vacuum cleaner from reception if required.

Laundry facilities?

There are 2 coin operated laundries on-site with washing machines and dryers. We also provide clothes lines for drying your clothes.

Can you drink the tap water?

Yes - Canterbury water is the best in New Zealand, it is artesian water and therefore extremely pure. It tastes great!

Do we hire cars or bikes?

No. However we can help you arrange a rental car or bike hire at our tour desk.

Do we have a restaurant on site?

No, however there is a selection of restaurants within a 2-15min walk from the holiday park.

Wine and beer?

We sell wine and beer from our reception.

Do you have a shop on site?

No, however there is a 24hour supermarket just 5min walk from the park or a service station across the road from the park.

Where can we eat?

There is a food court located in Northlands - just 5 minutes walk away. There are many cafes, restaurants and bars close by offering a wide range of food.

Where is the closest ATM?

The nearest ATM (cash machine) is at Northlands Mall - which is a 5 minute walk away.

Do you provide smoke free rooms?

All of our units are smoke free. In fact, anyone who smokes in our units will incur a $100 fee.

Do we have a dry cleaning service?

Yes we do.

Where can I park in town?

It is best to leave your car or camper van with us and take the bus into the city. The bus stop is located opposite the park. The city does offer metered parking using ‘pay and display' and there are several car parks in the central city. These are not suitable for camper vans.

Am I able to get a bus from the holiday park to the city?

Yes. There is a bus stop just across the road from our Cranford Street entrance. Any number bus will get you into the city and numbers 14 and 16 will return you to Cranford Street. It costs $2.80 per adult each way and $1.40 per child for each way. Buses run every 15 minutes during the week and every half hour in the weekend. Ask at reception for bus timetables or visit the metro bus service site (http://www.metroinfo.org.nz/ ).

Do we need to book ahead?

Yes you may book ahead at other TOP 10 parks and it is recommended to do so. They may require one night's tariff as a deposit to confirm your booking. Please have your credit card with you. We are able to book 1 park ahead.
